New Lens

New Lens is a youth driven social justice organization that makes art and media about issues where a youth perspective can inspire change. This year we are working on issues of justice, health and education and will impact over 200 youth throughout the year. We invite you to participate in our work through viewing and responding to our projects online.

New Lens is staffed by a team of 20 youth and several adults who are the core artists, media-makers and instructors for our projects. We serve approximately 200 public school youth throughout each year through classes/workshops and have created commissioned video work for over a dozen social justice partners!
